I just got Continuum Shift in the mail. Calling a not-hiatus till while I obsessively play it. Should really only affect australasian hours and probably just for the next few days or so.

Basically tiny had been pretty zen, if really jaded to Sabra and pretty much completely disillusioned. Bad things will happen no matter what, the best thing to do is to just not trust anyone yada yada.

I apologize for my absence, but I just got completely burnt out when it comes to the computer. I just got so sick of the time-stealing little machine and we had a falling out. But that is over now! On the other hand I will be away in Dalecarlia for the weekend and be without internet, so I won't be back until monday.

So just when you think things calm down enough, something else happens.

The water heater in my house just exploded last night, and there is an inch or two of water all over my floor and I'm trying to save my stuff. I'm writing this from a borrowed computer. HOPEFULLY, I should be able to be back next week. But as it is, my house will not be possible to live in for at least a few weeks. But there should be a temporary solution.

This is awkward timing, but I'm moving so I need to throughoutly clean up my room and pack it all down, and then it will take a day to do the actual move (8+ hours in a car, yay), and probably one more day to get settled in again. Wataru and Maya will be lost in the caves.

What he learns:
- He was looking for his friends. They're named Meena and Kee Keema.
- Lyris is a very beautiful city.
- He's a Highlander, the wristband he's been wearing in all his memories are proof of this.
- A Highlander is someone who protects to peace.
- The term Traveller, and that it doesn't mean just any traveller.
- Diamon were wearing the same types of robes as the priest who tried to kill him.
- At the time, he completely trusted Diamon and thought he was a kind old man.
- This memory must take place before his first memory.
- The bad thing Mitsuru did was set a forest on fire, a lot of people were hurt.

What it does:
- Finding out about being a Highlander will give him a little bit more of a sense of responsibility, even if he doesn't know the full extent of what it is.
- Also will continue to cement that people in general aren't trustworthy, since he knows because of his first memory that this was all a trap.
- He also realizes after his other memories that Mitsuru probably actually burned that forest down, even if he didn't believe it at the time :(
- Mitsuru was doing things that were wrong, but he won't hold it against him because of the black gem memory.
- Also like with his mother, he'll start to worry about what happened to his unseen friends, since they haven't appeared in any other memory.

Okay general info collecting post for me to use for future games. One of these categories will be relevant to the April game, I can't say which in advance though. Basically though, if you plan on playing in any normal Haunted Game in the future, I would appreciate if you would fill it out.

Visiting relatives until tuesday, and then I have some really important tests I need to pass. So I will be less around until after the 23rd. Trying, and failing, to stop Mitsuru from stealing the Dark Gem.

What he learns:
- They were in some Crystal Palace thing, and there were a gem with a mirror there.
- Taking the gem is a BAD THING to do, but he doesn't know why.
- The BAD THING has to do with Vision.
- He was trying to stop Ashikawa from taking the gem
- ...He had the same goal as Mitsuru, what does that mean?
- They were going to get a wish to change their destiny?
- Mitsuru was going about it in the wrong way.
- There were some girl lying around, Mitsuru almost pushed her off the edge by mistake D:
- Mitsuru is still an awesome mage
- MITSURU'S PAST BAAAAWW!!1
- Mitsuru was trying to revive his baby sister :(
- The names of Mitsuru's family.
- Mitsuru took the gem in the end anyway, THIS WAS BAD

What it does
- It will actually help with the wolf game issues, since... sometimes people have really good reasons for doing what they do, even if it's wrong.
- What Ashikawa did was wrong, but it wasn't his fault :( Ashikawa is auto-forgiven anything and everything ever.
- He still have no clue what the gem actually does :|a
- He's REALLY SCARED his own mom is dead too, since they had the same goal.
- It helps reinforce Canis ideals about Doing The Right Thing.
- So basically while it is a bad memory, it's good coming at this time.

Not bothering making an actual essay, but just noting down the most important things.

Being saved by Mitsuru from a creepy priest aka. that scene with the damn leaves.

What he learns:
- TONS OF THINGS ABOUT MITSURU
- Mitsuru is a powerful wizard that can do all kinds of magic things.
- Mitsuru saved him from this weird priest that apparently was trying to kill him.
- This was Mitsuru's way of repaying some debt to him, he suspects it has to do with what Mits told him before.
- For som reason he thought Mitsuru had hurt himself earlier
- Mitsuru killed innocent people and animals, but it must have been a mistake!!1
- He doesn't know exactly what Vision is, but it's the place they're at, and he's there to save his mother. He'll suspect this is his wish in Sabra too (assuming someone tells him about wishes)
- Mitsuru is looking for gemstones and they have something to do with getting Mitsuru's wish.
- Wataru had a sword! It had two gemstones in it like the ones on Mitsuru's staff, but he have no idea what they do.
- ......Mitsuru's smile makes him homesick for some reason.

Extremely rambly essay that is way too long, basically saying that the game sucked for Wataru :|b



In short; the game didn’t do any permanent damage to him, mostly because of Canis attitude towards it will help/helped keep him afloat. It did take a serious toll on him though, and basically told him that the world sucks! Wataru does not want to believe this though, so when things get better he’ll start to let go of the pessimism, but the cheerful part really took a hit. Overall, he also believes that people are still good unless they’re wearing black, but the card plays are a touchy spot so he’d rather not talk about them, since admitting people were playing cards with intent would probably break his faith a bit.

tl;dr Shouta is sad and pessimistic but will get over it because team is mostly zen about game results.
